How many two year-old children do you know that pride in putting their toys away when they have finished playing? The simple task of putting away toys when done with them is a skill my son learned at Chamila’s daycare and he has been happily putting away his toys for nearly a year now; it’s a skill that makes us the envy of other parents of toddlers!
My son beams at the thought of going to day care each morning because his care provider and daycare friends are so wonderful. I think I am happiest with watching my son’s language development because he speaks clearly and follows instructions well!
This is my first child and I thought I would be a nervous childcare parent, but with Chamila I am not. I am happy with how comfortable I am leaving my son in Chamila's care knowing that he is cared for and her educational program is building a positive foundation for my son’s future learning experiences. I moved house a distance away from Chamila’s daycare a year ago but travel each day to take my son to Chamila because I am so happy with the care Chamila is providing and I know that after I drop him in the morning, I can focus my mind on my work and not be distracted! I couldn’t be happier with the amazing care and education program we are receiving.

Our daughter came to Chamila a short 9 months ago, and has grown so much in that time. More so than just in height, and weight !
She has been truly nutured and educated.
Chamila has a very warm and kind demeanour, we felt right away, which is why we felt comfortable leaving Madeline in her care from day 1.
Since day 1 however we have felt more than comfortable, we felt proud and happy to send her to Chamila every day. The greatest testament though is not what I can tell you about how we feel, rather it is to simply say that Madeline herself was always looking forward to going daycare each morning, and more days that not, didn't want to leave to come home.
That is the real "proof in the pudding".
Madelines' and our loss due to Chamila and her family moving, is most definitely Durham regions' families' gain.

We recently moved to Canada and was blessed to find a teacher like Chamila. My son Andrew soon grew very attached to Chamila and enjoyed his time at the daycare.
He is definitely a handful and keeps my husband and myself on our toes most of the day. After going to the daycare , Andrew was always very good about his table manners and was very polite when he requested anything from us. I was so surprised to hear him say "may I please have a cookie" He was a happy child and always talked about Miss Chamila and his friends at the day care.
Chamila posses so many qualities that a day care teacher should have. She is so patient and also very compassionate. This is exactly what my son needed. Andrew has a mind of his own and does not listen to too many people but somehow Chamila was able to get through to him.
We were so upset when Chamila mentioned that she is moving to Whitby. We are even considering moving to Whitby so that Andrew can go back to Chamila. Anyway I would like to wish her ALL THE VERY BEST. I have no doubt she will do very well. Her new daycare kids are so lucky to have her !!!!

Our son Ethan is almost 20 months old and has been with Chamila for only 8 months and even in such a short period of time, we can really see huge growth.
We first noticed that Ethan was putting his toys away and pushing in chairs and realized that this was taught to him from daycare. He now knows how to undress himself and take his boots on and off and we cannot be happier with how quickly he is learning! Ethan loves going to daycare and cannot wait to get there!!!
Chamila is amazing and we would recommend her daycare to anyone. She has the patience of a saint and speaks so softly and kind to the children, yet gets the task accomplished.
I am so happy that we have found Chamila. We couldn't ask for anyone more qualified or suitable to care for our child. Thank you!
